Every business starts from a different place. These case studies show how we identify challenges, set priorities and
turn marketing strategy into practical action.
Industry: E-commerce · Logistic · Malaysian Halal food and beverages
Scope: Corporate workshop · Marketing consultancy · Brand and content strategy · Digital Marketing · Website recommendations · B2B Market Development
MySuka is an e-commerce brand bringing Malaysian food, snacks and beverages to customers overseas, with target markets including the UK, Middle East and Australia.
The founder launched the project to give long-serving employees from a logistics business an opportunity to develop new skills and build something beyond their existing roles.
Our work began with an e-commerce and digital marketing workshop. It grew into a broader consulting engagement to establish the brand’s marketing foundations and guide the team forward.
THE CHALLENGE
As a new brand entering international markets, MySuka needed to define who it was for, why customers should choose it and how to communicate its value. Beyond country selection, this meant understanding customer demographics, motivations, buying behaviour, needs and pain points, then using these insights to shape its brand positioning.
The initial website lacked clear product organisation, navigation and a smooth shopping journey. There were no established brand guidelines or brand story to connect the products into a recognisable identity. AI tools had yet to be integrated into the team’s workflow, offering another opportunity to explore as its capabilities developed.
The team brought experience in logistics operations, but no prior training in marketing, advertising or branding.
They needed foundational knowledge, practical guidance and clear processes to take on unfamiliar responsibilities while developing the confidence to make marketing decisions.
We began with tailored workshops led by Wai Ling, using role-playing exercises and real business situations to explore different customer perspectives. Together, we examined who might buy, what would motivate them and what concerns could hold them back, helping the team clarify how to make MySuka’s offering more relevant.
Through content strategy, SOPs and ongoing guidance, we translated marketing concepts into clear responsibilities and practical next steps. Beyond knowing what to do, the team was encouraged to understand the reasoning behind each decision and apply that thinking to future business challenges.
We reviewed the website and recommended improvements to product categories, navigation, presentation and brand information. The focus was to create a clearer shopping journey, helping visitors understand MySuka’s offering, discover relevant products and find the information they needed to make purchasing decisions.
As the team described it, the work helped turn “scattered ideas into clearer directions” and “uncertainty into confidence.”
“One thing we truly appreciate about Wai Ling is that she doesn't just tell us what to do; she teaches us how to think strategically, understand the bigger picture, and make better marketing decisions.”
